Dr. Kevin Jackson, Ph.D.,  was an inspirational leader to all those that knew him.  Dr. Jackson was a native to the Washington D.C. area, and dedicated his life to education and to the empowerment of all those he served. He was a reverend, a counselor, a leader, and a friend to all.
Dr. Jackson served on the Board of Directors for Labor Credit Union for 10 years. It was Dr. Jackson's vision and idea to establish the Labor Community Foundation, and to honor his memory and legacy of promoting education and empowerment all scholarships awarded through the Labor Community Foundation are done so through the Kevin Jackson Scholarship Program.

HD Woodson High School

The Labor Community Foundation is partnering with HD Woodson High School to provide support for students who are pursuing academic excellence through HD Woodson High School’s NAF Career Academies.  Every dollar you donate will directly support these young minds, empowering them to excel and achieve their dreams in Engineering, Information Technology, and Finance.

We have a goal to raise $10,000.00 for the 2023-2024 calendar school year, which will be used to provide scholarships to graduating seniors through the Kevin Jackson Scholarship Program, and to sponsor deserving students who are entering these rigorous Academies beginning at the 10th grade level.

Every contribution counts, and together we can help to transform the lives of these young students, who will go on to shape a brighter future for our community.

Join us in our effort to empower the futures of these young minds and donate today!
